The Ski Adirondack Chair is the heart and soul of what we do.  Classic in design, ruggedly hand-built, and exceedingly comfortable.  The ski chair makes a statement about your passions, it starts conversations about art or recycled products, and it's just plain fun.  Every piece is an original, one-of-a-kind configuration! 

 

Ski chairs have both a curved back and curved seat for comfort while lounging or sitting up.  Wide arms can easily accommodate you and your food and drink and are cut-out on the inside so the rest of you does not feel cramped. 

 

The ski chair body is crafted from 5/4" cedar wood, sanded, and all edges are rounded.  Stainless steel screws and bolts are used exclusively to prevent staining the cedar as well as protection from the elements.  Screw heads in the arms and wooden seat slats are plugged with matching grain cedar for a more finished look.

 

Skis used for the seat and back are recycled and come from a variety of locations; individuals, gear shops, schools, and recycling centers.  They are cleaned, ground, polished, and all holes are filled.  Recycled skis are all used and have some wear but they generally clean-up quite nicely, and most are still in great shape.
